Fabulous location and excellently furnished! This newly restored, super convenient and air conditioned apartment is only few minutes walk from St Peter and the Vatican. It is surrounded by shops, bars and restaurants and it's only less than a minute walk to the nearest Metro station (Line A station Ottaviano).

The bedroom features a queen sized bed (160 cm) and a sofa bed which converts into 2 single beds. There's also a Smart TV 32 ". The sofa in the living room converts to a double bed suitable for two people. So the apartment is ideal for a family with more children, or up to 6 adults to share.

In the hall there is a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher and an espresso machine, and the sofa bed, a table for 4.

There is a small but well equipped bathroom.

The building is from the early 20th century but only the typical floors in the 2 rooms have remained, everything else has been totally renewed or rebuilt in 2021. The apartment is on the upper ground floor but the new double glassed mirror windows allow you to see out (lots of light coming in) but nobody can see anything inside, to ensure your privacy!

Given the location, the best way to get around is on foot or by metro / bus / tram. For those coming by car, there are paid parking spaces in the area (free in the evening and on holidays), but being a residential and office area we are outside any traffic restricted area, so you can always move around freely.

The apartment is situated in the Elegant Prati Quarter, mainly built in the 19th and early 20th Century. There is so much to do and see right on the doorstep. The Vatican is our neighbour, it's only a short walk to the entrance of the Vatican Museum on one side and St Peter Square with the Basilica on the other side, en route you can take in the lovely Borgo area with its ancient cobblestones streets. Sant’Angelo Castle is only a few minutes walk away and the unique Piazza Navona area begins just the other side of one of the most beautiful bridges in the world.

Around the apartment there is everything you need, in few meters. Just 100 meters away a main brand supermarket, and also some a grocery shops are in the area, so shopping is no problem if you're cooking for yourselves. On the other hand, a huge number of pizzerias, bars, pubs, ice cream parlors and all sorts of restaurant can be found in the neighborhood so there is a huge choice if you wish to eat out. One of the best High Streets of Rome, Via Cola di Rienzo, full of amazing shops, is only a two minute walk away… not to be missed by shopping lovers!

The apartment is just 6 metro stop away from main Railway Station (Termini). So many of the famous sites of Rome can be reached easily by metro line A: Piazza del Popolo, Via del Corso, the Spanish Steps, the Trevi fountain, Via Veneto, the new magnificent Rinascente Department Store, the Roman Archeological Museum, Via Nazionale, the Opera, Santa Maria Maggiore and San Giovanni. Changing in Termini to line B you can get to the lovely Monti area and the Colosseum and Circo Massimo. Several bus and tram lines are only a block away, for example tram 19 goes to Villa Borghese with its amazing Galleria, the Zoo and the Museum of Modern Art, the number 23 bus takes you to Trastevere and the number 32 bus to the main entrance of the OlImpico stadium.

Please note that there is a cleaning fee of 45 euro to be paid cash upon arrival (as per rules of the house). In case the sofa bed is used as bed, the cleaning fee will be slightly higher.
